The inspiration for Brandy Almondia came from the fact that Nigerians are very stylish and very quality conscious. The rate at which we patronize foreign products is amazing. I began to ask myself how do we contribute and how do we take advantage of our local consumption capacity instead of depending on imported product. To achieve this feat, it took Eastern Distilleries & Food industries limited four years to perfect the process of arriving at Brandy Almondia.

I took my time to study one industry in Nigeria we should take our lessons from; the music industry. In the 80’s and early 90’s, if you went to any event, the kind of music you would hear was always American music and if you played anything outside American music you would be considered not envogue.
